A poem

Love is like magic
and it always will be,
For love still remains
life’s sweet mystery.

Love works in ways
that are wondrous and strange
And there’s nothing in life
that love cannot change!

Love can transform
the most commonplace
Into beauty and splendor
and sweetness and grace.

Love is unselfish,
understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart
and not with its mind.

Love is the answer
that everyone seeks…
Love is the language
that every heart speaks.

Love can’t be bought,
it is priceless and free,
Love, like pure magic,
is life’s sweet mystery!

Jokes

Teacher: „Are you good at maths?“
Pupil: „Yes and no“
Teacher:“ What do you mean?“
Pupil: Yes, „I’m no good at maths!“

When should a mouse carry an umbrella?
When it’s raining cats and dogs!

Teacher: „You missed school yesterday didn’t you?“ Pupil: „Not very much!“

Teacher:“Why were you late?“
„Sorry, teacher, I overslept“.
„You mean you need to sleep at home too!“

„I have just bought a pig.“
„Where will you keep it?“
„In my sitting-room.“
But what about the smell?“
„Oh, well, the pig will get used to it“

Songtext : Proud Mary

Tina Turner – Proud Mary

Left a good job in the city

Workin’ for the man ev’ry night and day

And I never lost one minute of sleepin’

Worryin’ ’bout the way things might have been

Big wheel keep on turnin’

Proud Mary keep on burnin’

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Cleaned a lot of plates in Memphis

Pumped a lot of tain down in New Orleans

But I never saw the good side of the city

‘Til I hitched a ride on a river boat queen

Big wheel keep on turnin’

Proud Mary keep on burnin’

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

If you come down to the river

Bet you gonna find some people who live

You don’t have to worry ’cause you have

[if you got] no money

People on the river are happy to give

Big wheel keep on turnin’

Proud Mary keep on burnin’

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ on the river

The Wombats – Lost in the Post

Gespeichert unter: Nicht kategorisiert — sarabuchberger @ 6:20

The songtext:

I should have known you didn’t have the time my dear

To let this twenty something bring you down with his list of fears

I’d like to think we had some fun times though

It’s just my inability to think outside the box I know!

She was signed, sealed and lost in the post,

Gone where all the letters we write to Santa go

(We write to Santa Go!)

I could see your interest wane my dear

She wanted Mary Poppins and I took her to King Lear

Yes we’ve had some spills shall I say

And I thought you were going to leave, but not that you’d evaporate

She was signed, sealed and lost in the post,

Gone where all the letters we write to Santa go

(We write to Santa Go!)

Please go to Santa go to Santa go go gogo to Santa go to Santa go go go

go to Santa go to Santa go go go

go to Santa go to Santa go go go

please go to Santa go to Santa go go go

please go to Santa go to Santa go go go

please go to Santa go to Santa go go go

please go to Santa go to Santa go go go

She was signed, sealed and lost in the post,

Gone where all the letters we write to Santa go

She was signed, sealed and lost in the post,

Gone where all the letters we write to Santa go

Native Americans

More than sixty percent of Native Americans do not live on reservations.

Native Americans are among the poorest people in the US.

Many reservations try to earn some money through gambling.

Some reservations also make money by allowing companies to dump dangerous waste on their land.

Many young Native Americans do not know very much about their tribes and traditions.

Thousands of young Native Americans are trying to practise old rituals.

One of the rituals is staying for some time in the wilderness.

I think that Native Americans and also other tribes are really interesting.

Here are some facts about New York:

New York City has more inhabitants than Austria.

One of the fifty states is also called New York.

The UN headquates are in New York City.

Manhattan is one of the five districts of New York.

The statue of Liberty is so large tath 12 people can stand inside the torch the woman is holding.

New York is the largest city in the USA.

The first Europeans who came to Manhattan were from Holland.

Geographically speaking, New York is as far south as rome.

When I´m older, I want to go on holiday to New York City with Carina.

Save our Planet

Gespeichert unter: Nicht kategorisiert — sarabuchberger @ 5:53

I think if people don´t work together and start doing something about the environment now, the air will be so polluted that we will have to go out with gas masks only. Animals won´t be able to live on our planet because the oir will be so polluted. We´ll habe to eat plastic cood, because animals won´t exist and fruit and vegetables can´t grow on our planet. I hope people will start to save the earth and work together NOW.
